Jane Haddam (Orania Papazoglou) was an American mystery writer, continuously published over a 40 year career.
Born and raised in Connecticut, she moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan, for her doctorate, and then back to New York City to work in the publishing industry. In NYC she met fellow author William L. Deandrea. After Bill’s in television job took them to Paris and London, they bought a house in Watertown, Connecticut, when they returned to the USA.
After Bill’s death from metastatic cancer of the appendix, Jane taught English at Naugatuck Valley Community College and Post University, and wrote most of the Gregor Demarkian mystery series. She also continued to write magazine articles.
